Numerous outstanding racecar drivers participated in the legendary "Carrera Panamericana," which was staged in Mexico in the 1950s. Among these great drivers was the famous Argentine pilot Juan Manuel Fangio, the five-time Formula-1 world champion who won the Mexican race in 1953. To commemorate this unique adventure, TAG Heuer launched in 1964 the Carrera chronograph, which combines elegance and a sporty spirit.
